Stage 7
Macinaggio – Tarcu, 277 km
17.-29. April 2011
We started this stage from the northernmost point in Corsica and walked through the wild and beautiful landscapes of Cap Corse and Castagniccia. The initially glorious blue sky changed in the second week to greyer tones. We were forced by the rain to leave the mountain heights. We bravely continued on hiking across the plains surrounded by vineyards. After 12 days we reached the eastern coast at a point somewhat south of the town of Solenzara.
